Silicone Breast Implants
Qualifying for Silicone Implants: Sunset Cosmetic Surgery offers silicone implants for select individuals that fit the criteria as specified by the FDA. Silicone implants may be offered in certain cases of breast reconstruction, mastopexy (uplifts) or those who have experienced problems in the past with saline implants.

Implant Placement: Silicone implants can be placed under or over the muscle and do cost more than saline implants.

Options for Incision Location: Since silicone implants typically require a larger incision than a saline implant, most are inserted via periareolar (nipple) or inframmamry crease (breast fold).

Above (2 sets): Periareolar (Benelli) mastopexy augmentation with silicone.
Above 3 sets: This patient had a crescent mastopexy (uplift) on each breast with placement of smooth silicone gel implants ( left = 375cc, right = 350cc). Each implant was placed under the muscle.
