About Dysport
Top of page
Our surgeon-administered Los Angeles Dysport treatments
come from the cosmetic form of botulinum
toxin, which is usually referred to by its product name
Dysport®. This non-surgical injection
reduces or eliminates frown
lines, forehead creases, and crows feet near
the eyes by temporarily blocking the nerve impulses of the underlying muscles. By relaxing a few of the tiny muscles below the skin which cause
wrinkles, the skin above apppears smoother and the overall look is more youthful and refreshed.
Though Dysport was approved to use in the U.S. in Spring 2009, it has a history of use in other countries since 1991. Outside the U.S., it was first approved for aesthetic use in 2001.
