There are a variety of temporary injectable fillers available today and most patients are familiar with BOTOX ® and its uses in relaxing frown lines and crow's feet. Our Los Angeles BOTOX and Beverly Hills Restylane treatments are readily available for our clients who seek a younger appearance without surgical procedures. Side effects for injectable fillers like our Beverly Hills restylane procedure or our Beverly Hills botox are normally minimal. Both our Beverly Hills Restylane and Los Angeles BOTOX treatments are outpatient procedures that are accomplished in a short period of time at our clinic. JUVÉDERM™

Juvederm is now available at Sunset Cosmetic Surgery! Juvederm is FDA Approved and the latest dermal filler advance from Allergan, Inc (makers of BOTOX®). It is considered the "next generation" smooth gel, non-animal dermal filler offering a natural look/feel and long-lasting results for up to six months or longer.

The JUVÉDERM™ family of products are FDA approved with results lasting up to one year from a single treatment. JUVÉDERM™ dermal filler lasts longer than many other fillers on the market because it has the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid and a special formulation process.

JUVÉDERM™ is the FIRST Smooth Consistency Gel Formulation resulting in a smooth, natural look.

All other currently approved hyaluronic acid dermal fillers use a gel particle suspension formulation. The smooth consistency of JUVÉDERM™ dermal filler also may help to minimize the discomfort that can sometimes occur during the injection procedure. Regular pricing for Juvederm is $550 per syringe. Please note that Juvederm Ultra costs extra.

Beverly Hills Restylane®

Our Beverly Hills Restylane® treatment is a cosmetic dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that exists in the human body. It can effectively fill in the nasolabial folds and plump lips. Our Beverly Hills Restylane lasts about 6 months for most people -- twice as long as collagen-- so Beverly Hills Restylane treatments are typically scheduled twice a year. Regular pricing for Restylane is regularly $550 per syringe, however, 1st time patients to Sunset get the Introductory Price of $500 per syringe.

Perlane®

Perlane is similar to Restylane and is made from non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA) gel. No pre-testing is required, since hyaluronic acid is a substance that exists in the human body. The difference beteween the two products is that the particals in Perlane are larger than in Restylane, which take longer for the body to break down. It is for this reason that Perlane lasts longer than Restylane. Perlane is regularly $600 per syringe.

Los Angeles BOTOX®

Often described as the "fountain of youth," our Los Angeles BOTOX® treatment is the brand name for Botulinum Toxin Type A. BOTOX® was developed by dermatologists in 1980 to treat muscle disorders such as uncontrolled blinking and was later put to cosmetic uses for the first time in 1987. Currently, our Los Angeles BOTOX® treatment is being used primarily to treat frown lines, crow's feet and other wrinkles and fine lines that tend to accumulate over time and are the result of years of squinting and frowning. Our Los Angeles BOTOX® works on these wrinkles by temporarily relaxing the underlying muscles and results are seen just a few days following the Beverly Hills botox procedure.

BOTOX can also be very beneficial for patients with sweaty palms. This condition, also known as hyperhidrosis, can be very bothersome for people, especially in professions where they are regularly required to shake hands. The treatment is simple and involves tiny injections of Botox on the palms. Results last for months at a time and patients have reported a very high satisfaction rate. Special pricing for this area applies, so please ask when you call for your appointment.

Los Angeles Botox/Beverly Hills Restylane Typical Recovery Time: Our Beverly Hills Restylane treatment, Los Angeles BOTOX® injections and other fillers are done on an out patient basis with numbing cream as needed. Many patients come in on their lunch hour as these procedures only take 15-20 minutes (add 20-30 extra if you want numbing cream since it takes about that long to work). After your Los Angeles Botox treatment, you might have some redness or swelling. This will normally last for only a few hours-- a day or two at most, although everyone is different. Sun exposure should be avoided until any redness or swelling disappears after one of our Los Angeles BOTOX or Beverly Hills Restylane filler treatments.

BOTOX is regularly $250 per area. Glabella (where nose and forehead meet) is considered one area, crow's feet are one area, etc. 1st time patients to Sunset get the Introductory Price of $200 per area.

Injectable fillers like our Beverly Hills Restylane were used on the above two cases to fill in deep lines and provide a more youthful look.

Radiesse®

Radiesse is FDA approved to safely correct wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth. It lasts longer than many of the popular fillers on the market, which means fewer injections and office visits. Radiesse is made of unique calcium-based microspheres that are suspended in a natural gel that is injected into the skin through a simple, safe and minimally invasive procedure.
