Portrait Pricing
Pricing for Portrait® treatment depend upon the number of areas being treated and whether the doctor recommends several low-powered treatments vs. one high-powered treatment. In general, the cost is comparable to other similar procedures, but with superior, longer-lasting results at every treatment level and fewer treatments required to see results, the Portrait® provides great value for the money. At Sunset, the cost for Portrait depends on your skin the the treatment plan that will work best.
Portrait Plasma Recovery Time
At lower levels of treatment
there will be some redness and flaking of the skin for 2-3 days. At higher
power, the outer layer of skin browns and flakes off 3 to 6 days
after treatment.
Portrait Plasma Post Treatment Instructions
After receiving Portrait® Plasma skin rejuvenation treatments, you will experience some pain and discomfort. You should be able to control the pain by using common, over-the-counter medications such as Tylenol or Advil on a consistent basis. For at least one week post-surgery, please do not use any creams, oils, lotions, or makeup on the area treated except for products specifically approved with your doctor.
You may return to work as soon as the next day following treatment as long as you do not work outdoors. However, be mindful that your skin will still feel irritated and be visibly red (like a bad sunburn) for a few days following treatment. The redness will fade to a more brassy color as the days go by. You may feel more comfortable returning to work once the redness has dulled and the pain has subsided completely.
It is important to avoid excess sun exposure for one month following treatment. Do not stay out in the sun for extended periods of time and always you protect your skin with sunscreen when you are outdoors. Be sure to pick a gentle sunscreen with an SPF of at least 35+.
