Rhinoplasty is a complex art. Not only does it require skilled surgical hands to do the work, it requires an eye for balance and aesthetics so that what bothers a patient about their nose is corrected, but without throwing the entire face off balance. For the nose, form and function are closely interrelated. Our Los Angeles / Beverly Hills rhinoplasty procedure is accomplished by the talented, board certified plastic surgeons Dr. Svehlak and Dr. Yamini.

Typical Recovery Time: This varies greatly for our rhinoplasty Los Angeles procedure. Obviously some tip work is not going to require as much recovery time as nostril or bridge work as far as swelling, bruising and discomfort. Most patients use pain medication for 2-10 days after surgery and experience some swelling and bruising for 1-6 weeks. Numbness can also occur for a week or so after surgery (usually at the tip of nose). Using sunblock is important after your Los Angeles rhinoplasty procedure. Most patient return to work anywhere from 1-3 weeks after surgery and can slowly resume exercise (including swimming) in 4-6 weeks. We realize these are fairly large ranges, but your rhinoplasty Beverly Hills / Los Angeles surgeon will give you instructions for your recovery based on your case. Final results are seen anywhere from 3-12 months following surgery.
