Typical recovery for breast asymmetry repair
This really varies depending on whether a breast assymetry augmentation, reduction or uplift was performed to even out the breasts. For the first few days after the breast augmentation surgery you will wear a special surgical bra to minimize swelling and support the breasts. Expect to feel tired and for your breasts to feel tender for the first 24 to 48 hours at least. You will continue to wear one of the surgical support bras for several weeks at all times. Most women take one to two weeks off from work and normal activity; strenuous activity is not recommended for six weeks after the operation. Avoid lifting and pushing for two weeks–no heavy lifting or pushing for four weeks.
