Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Aveli™ different from other cellulite treatments?
It is a minimally invasive procedure that directly targets the structural cause of cellulite by releasing the septa bands. This precision sets it apart from treatments that only address the symptoms superficially.
How long does it take to see results from treatment?
While individual experiences may vary, most patients notice visible improvements in cellulite reduction once swelling and bruising have subsided, typically within a month post-procedure.
Is the Aveli procedure painful?
Any discomfort is typically minimal. Local anesthesia is used during the procedure to ensure patient comfort.
How can I maintain the results of my Aveli treatment?
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle can complement your results. Dr. Svehlak will provide personalized advice on how to sustain your smoother skin post-treatment.
Are there any restrictions on activity after the Aveli™ procedure?
Patients are generally advised to avoid strenuous activities for a few days to weeks post-procedure for optimal healing.
What is the recovery time for Aveli cellulite treatment?
Recovery time is minimal, with most patients resuming normal activities within 24-48 hours. You’ll receive comprehensive aftercare instructions to ensure a smooth recovery.
You will wear a compression garment for the first 2-4 weeks to help with swelling and contouring, and allow the areas to heal more smoothly. After 1 week it is beneficial to get Endermologie and/or lymphatic massages to help further speed recovery and healing.
