Female ear, after Otoplasty - Ear Lesion treatment, r-side view, patient 2

This is a 20 y.o. female who previously had piercings of her right ear for a few years.  The piercings had caused some over growth of the underlying ear cartilage and thickening of scar tissue.  Two deformities resulted in the rim of the right ear.  She was evaluated by Dr. Svehlak for correction.

Dr. Svehlak performed an otoplasty on her right ear under a local anesthesia.  The two subcutaneous lesions (cartilage and scar tissue) were removed carefully.  The result is a smooth natural looking ear rim with no visible signs of surgery.  She was very happy with the results.
