Incontinence Treatment with BTL Emsella
Electromagnetic pelvic floor muscle stimulation with BTL Emsella
Incontinence is common among women as a result of childbirth, menopause, or aging.
There are two types of incontinence:
Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) – Bladder leakage during common events like coughing, sneezing, and laughing.
Urge Incontinence (UI) – A strong overwhelming need to urinate that can’t be controlled
Pelvic floor muscles are layers of muscles that support your bladder, and if weak, can lead to urinary incontinence.
BTL Emsella is an FDA-cleared, safe, and painless treatment that uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic technology (HIFEM) to stimulate pelvic floor muscle contractions (also known as Kegel exercises).
The Esmella BTL treatment is done by sitting in a padded chair while you are fully clothed. We generally recommend a series of sessions (around 30 minutes each) for best results.
